Even the most reliable product can go wrong, which is why it is sold with a manufacturer's guarantee.

But what happens when it expires?

Is it possible to avoid the expense and inconvenience of unforeseen breakdowns?

Now there is a way to safeguard yourself against costly repair bills, the Repair Protection Plan, will give you protection long after the manufacturer’s guarantee has ended.

Repair Protection Plan is designed to protect a whole variety of products; from cookers to ovens, hobs, gas fires and electric fires, and the New for Old protection gives you a brand new replacement product so long as you renew your Plan.

Total Protection ­ New for Old
By taking out a New for Old Protection Plan for your new product, you'll make sure that you will never have to pay for it's replacement.

Normally you can choose 2 or 4 extra years protection in addition to the manufacturer’s guarantee. After that the plan is renewable annually. Your plan safeguards you against all parts and labour costs in the event of breakdown, even if damaged is caused accidentally or by above average use.

New for old protection for the lifetime of your product

How Repair Protection Works
If your appliance breaks down, simply call Domestic & General Services Ltd's Helpline on 08705 997799- available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and they will provide you with details of your local engineer. There are no bills to pay as normally any repair bills will be paid directly to the repairer.

New For Old Protection
If your appliance is found to be beyond economic repair after the manufacturer's guarantee has expired, it will be replaced by the same or an equivalent model.

As long as you remain protected, you will always be entitled to a brand new replacement if your existing product cannot be repaired. You can upgrade the product at this time providing you pay the difference.

Please note: fitting and re-fitting charges of replacement products are not included in Repair Protection Plan cover.
